We are all going through a difficult period. These are days when we miss being together. Epictetus said, “The greater the difficulty, the more glory in surmounting it.” It is a meaningful thought for difficult times.

True wisdom is not only seeing the future; it is overcoming difficulties while bringing light to others. Healthcare workers, whom I am always proud to be part of, are doing exactly this.

As a society, we are managing the process, but we must not abandon precautions. Positive communication during this period gives us an opportunity to know one another more deeply.

Positive communication is also a healing path. It does not only heal; it strengthens what already exists. These days may help us rediscover people and emotions we may have neglected.
