Stem Cells Are Truly a Miracle!
Stem cell treatments are among my special areas of interest, and they can truly be described as remarkable. You often hear about stem cells in aesthetic applications, but do you know what they really are?
Stem cells are cells with the capacity to transform into many different cell types. Bone, cartilage, liver, muscle, tooth, hair — the possibilities are extraordinary.
In a sense, stem cells are the raw materials of the body. The body uses their renewal and differentiation potential to repair and regenerate itself.
Why are we so interested in stem cells?
Because we now understand disease mechanisms more clearly and recognize that stem cells may play a key role in repairing disrupted biological processes. Their regenerative capacity has driven the rapid development of regenerative medicine.
Stem cell research has also become an important guide for drug development and experimental treatment strategies.
How many types of stem cells are there?
In broad terms, three main groups are often discussed: embryonic stem cells, adult stem cells and perinatal stem cells found in sources such as cord blood.
