Violin-Shaped Brows

Today, let us talk about eyebrows — a feature that poets have long used to describe feminine beauty. Many women who sit in my consultation chair first lift their brows with their hands and ask, “Doctor, how can we make our brows look like this?”

So today I want to explain one of the methods for achieving a more lifted brow appearance, and one of my favorite procedures: endoscopic brow suspension.

What is endoscopic brow suspension?

Brow suspension is the surgical procedure in which brows and the upper eyelid area that have descended over the years are repositioned closer to their former level.

There are both surgical and non-surgical ways to lift the brows. Botulinum toxin can create a subtle secondary brow-lifting effect. Thread suspension can also provide a non-surgical lifting option.

However, such non-surgical effects are typically more limited and shorter lasting. Endoscopic brow suspension may be considered when a more durable and structurally meaningful elevation is desired.
