Tip Plasty
Patients with a drooping, pointed or wide nasal tip.
Tip plasty can address concerns such as a drooping nasal tip, lack of tip definition, separation of the tip structures, wide nostril wings, weak support of the nasal alae, or a bulbous, square or broad nasal tip appearance.
Tip plasty is frequently performed under local anesthesia, takes approximately 30 minutes, does not require hospitalization and does not involve nasal packing.
What happens after tip plasty surgery?
- Tip plasty is a comfortable and relatively painless procedure that helps create a more harmonious and elegant nasal appearance.
- Patients may spend the night at home after tip plasty.
- Compared with classic rhinoplasty, bruising is generally absent, while swelling is limited to the nasal tip and resolves quickly.
- Small tapes and a light dressing are applied to the nasal tip for the first week and may be removed between days 5 and 7.
